Bracknell Team
I’m a bubbly, fun-loving individual with an unwavering passion for working with children. From a young age, I knew that helping little minds grow, flourish, and thrive was what I wanted to do. My approach to childcare is rooted in warmth, patience, and a genuine joy in seeing children blossom into confident, capable individuals.
In childcare, we start as gardeners planting little seeds, nurturing them with care and guidance, and watching as they grow, flower, and bloom into amazing little people, ready for the journey ahead.
My journey began at college, where I completed my Level 3 qualification in childcare. From there, I stepped into my first job in early years, where I gained valuable experience working with children of all ages. This gave me a broad foundation and deep understanding of developmental needs across age groups.
I then progressed to my previous setting, where my career really took shape. Starting as a practitioner, I was trusted to take on more responsibility, moving into the role of room leader, then deputy manager, and finally manager. These roles allowed me to grow not only in knowledge but also in leadership.
As a manager, my key strengths lie in empathy balanced with firmness leading by example, coaching and mentoring and being there to support when it’s needed most. I believe in creating a nurturing, fun, and homely environment where both children and staff can reach their full potential.
Hayley.
Hi my name is Lorna Maynard I am Room leader of Toddlers at Beccas house day nursery Bracknell. I have had over 7 years of hands on experience in childcare and I absolutely love it!
I am a proud mummy to Maisie who also joined Beccas house back in January 2025. I have been at ease ever since she started due to the amazing team that have supported us, and built an amazing relationship with Maisie.
I am looking forward to getting to know all your little ones and welcoming them into our little nursery family.
I’m Jess, I’m 18 and currently working towards my level 3 qualification in early years. When finishing school I went to college and completed my first year of level 3 animal management but soon after realised I wanted to follow my mums footsteps in working in early years. Growing up I’ve always looked up to my mum (Rebecca) as my biggest inspiration, and seeing her help young minds grow has inspired me to do the same.
I’m excited to be apart of your little one’s growth and journey in the setting and making you all feel welcomed into the nursery family.
I’m Rhianna – Early Years Level 2 Apprentice, currently working towards my level 2 qualification in childcare. I achieved a merit in a Level 2 Creative Media Diploma when I finished college, where I gained skills including, creativity, communication and confidence with others. I then began to realise that I wanted to pursue a career in early years, as I find it a highly rewarding role, where I can make a positive impact on each child’s life. I am learning new skills day by day, ensuring the safety, and development of each child, including a nurturing environment. I am a reliable, caring individual who works well with the children of different ages and needs, I enjoy creating positive relationships with them, and also helping their confidence and independence grow.
Since I have joined ‘Becca’s House Day Nursery’ in Bracknell, I have been very well supported by each and every one of the staff, they have helped me gain the confidence, and knowledge of certain things. They are all welcoming individuals and I’m very lucky to be apart of their lovely team.
