About Becca's House Day Nursery

Becca’s House is dedicated to providing exceptional childcare services for children aged 3 months to 8 years. Located in the heart of Bracknell, Berkshire, our nursery offers a nurturing environment where children can thrive. Our mission is to create a safe, stimulating, and supportive atmosphere that fosters each child’s unique growth and development. With a foundation built on years of successful home-based childcare, we are excited to expand our services and continue our commitment to the community, offering excellence in early childhood education at an affordable price.

Our Philosophy

We believe that every child is a unique individual with boundless potential. Our philosophy is centered around creating a warm, nurturing, and inclusive environment where children feel safe to explore, learn, and grow. By integrating the principles of Hygge—a Danish approach to life focused on comfort, well-being, and mindfulness—we cultivate a space that feels like a home away from home.

We understand that early childhood is a time of curiosity and wonder, and we strive to spark creativity and inspire confidence in every child. By focusing on the child’s emotional and social development as much as their intellectual growth, we offer a balanced and holistic approach to early learning. Through play-based activities, sensory experiences, and moments of quiet reflection, we encourage exploration, connection, and critical thinking.

The Hygge approach is woven into everything we do, from the cosy atmosphere of our setting to the rhythm of our daily routines. We prioritise creating a calm, joyful environment where children feel deeply valued and supported. Whether it’s cuddling up with a story, engaging in creative activities, or simply being present in the moment, we embrace the idea that small, simple joys are the foundation for emotional resilience and well-being.

Our highly skilled educators are passionate about building strong, trusting relationships with each child and their family. We are committed to fostering inclusivity and celebrating diversity, ensuring every child feels a sense of belonging. We also believe that when parents and caregivers partner with us in their child’s learning journey, we create an enriched and harmonious experience for everyone.

At Becca’s House, we aim to lay the foundation for a bright future by encouraging children to explore at their own pace, express themselves freely, and develop a love for learning. With the gentle embrace of Hygge, we provide a space where every child can thrive emotionally, socially, and intellectually—today and in the future.

Meet Our Dedicated Team

Our team at Becca’s House Nursery is passionate about providing the best care and education for your children. Each member brings unique skills and a commitment to nurturing young minds.

I’m Rebecca – the founder of our nursery and a passionate childcare professional with over 13 years of experience. I began my journey as a home-based childminder, and over the years, my little business has grown into the nurturing setting it is today. Watching children learn, develop, and thrive is what I love most about my job – it truly is my calling.

I’ve lived in the area all my life and feel deeply connected to the community we serve. At home, I’m a proud mum to a wonderful daughter, as well as a stepmum to a lovely stepdaughter and stepson. Our family also includes two cheeky sausage dogs, Pickle and Twiglet, who keep us all entertained!

Outside of work, I enjoy dancing, cooking, and making memories with family and friends.
I look forward to welcoming you and your little ones into our nursery family.

I’m Ella, the deputy manger. I’ve been working with Rebecca for coming up to 5 years. I started as an apprentice working towards my level 3 qualification in early years education and eventually became a registered childminder, working alongside Rebecca. I’ve always wanted to work in early years and absolutely love helping all your little ones grow, develop and form their incredible personalities. I love that we have created a safe and homely environment that allows everyone to be themselves and have fun! I look forward to welcoming you and your family into our little nursery family.

Im Jess, I’m 23 and I have worked in childcare for over 3 years. In 2019 I worked with Rebecca as her first Child Minding Assistant – Proud to be a part of the first steps to where Becca’s House is today!
This is also where I achieved my Level 2 Qualification.
I spent 2 additional years working in a local Nursery, building my knowledge around Early Years Education, before leaving for Maternity leave. I fell so in love with the opportunity to positively influence children’s development and help shape their future, that I went on to have my own little bundle of joy, Oakley.
With Oakley attending Becca’s House, naturally I made my way back to Rebecca in May this year, on this exciting new journey and on a pathway to achieve my level 3.

Outside of work I mainly enjoy family time. Im still in my early journey of motherhood so currently loving soaking up every moment.

Im very pleased to be apart of such a wonderful team and thrive with watching your lovely children learn and grow with us.

I am Dikchha Dwivedi – Early Years Educator
I hold a Bachelor and Masters in Computer Science, but my passion for working with young children led me to early years education. I have had the privilege of teaching in preschools and primary schools across the USA, South Korea, India, and Denmark. These diverse experiences have helped me develop a flexible, inclusive, and child-centered approach to teaching.I enjoy creating playful and engaging learning environments where children feel safe, confident, and curious. I especially love using storytelling, creative play, and art to support children’s development and self-expression.
Outside of the classroom, I enjoy travelling, exploring different cultures, and spending time in nature, all of which inspire and enrich my teaching.

I’m Ellie, I have been a qualified level 2 practitioner since 2021, which I then got my first job as a practitioner. In 2023 I then got lucky enough to fall pregnant with my own little blessing, Jaxon. So I had some time out of working in nursery’s to raise my son, Jaxon is now 18 months old. I found Becca’s house day nursery in may and knew that would be an amazing job opportunity and had to take it. I have such a passion for helping your little ones grow and develop into the best little people they can be. I am now on the road to getting my level 3 qualification and I couldn’t think of a better place to get it. Outside of work, I love spending time as a family and making everyday special for my little one. I am very pleased to be apart of such an amazing and special team, helping your little one’s development and progress.

Hi, my name is Emma, I’m 27. I am the Toddlers Room Leader and Level 3 Practitioner. I have been in Early Years since 2019, starting as an apprentice then working my way up to level 3. In my previous setting I worked with a child who was deaf so I have experience with British Sign Language.

Outside of work I enjoy crocheting and baking. I love travelling and have recently been to Greece and Rome, I would love to go to Australia to visit family. I have no children of my own but a lovely niece and nephew who I love.

I have recently joined Becca’s team and am loving it. Everyone at Becca’s House has been so lovely and welcoming. I am very lucky to be apart of such a loving and supportive team.

I’m Eva, I am 24 (almost 25) and I am the deputy room leader for the toddler room. I have been working in childcare for 4 and a half years. I started my childcare journey as an apprentice in 2021 and received my level 3 qualification in 2022. I joined the Becca’s House family in September 2025 and I instantly fell in love with the warm and welcoming environment. I feel so lucky to work with such a committed and nurturing team, while teaching and caring for your young ones.
I have a real passion for childcare and love to watch your little ones learn and grow and I feel blessed to have the opportunity to help support their learning and development in a safe and nurturing, child-centred way.
A few interesting facts about me are that I was fostered when I was only a few months old and adopted when I was 18 months old. I was also diagnosed with autism at 9 years old. These experiences have helped me greatly when working in childcare and have shaped me into the kind and caring practitioner I am today.

Hi my name is Lorna Maynard I am Room leader of Toddlers at Beccas house day nursery Bracknell. I have always been passionate about working with young children, watching them grow and develop as well as seeing their little personalities flourish. I have had over 7 years of hands on experience in childcare and I absolutely love it!
I am a proud mummy to Maisie who also joined Beccas house back in January 2025. I have been at ease ever since she started due to the amazing team that have supported us, and built an amazing relationship with Maisie.
I am looking forward to getting to know all your little ones and welcoming them into our little nursery family.

I’m Ava, and i’ve been part of the team at Becca’s House for the past two years. I have recently completed my level 2 apprenticeship in early years education and am now level 2 qualified.
I work in the toddler area and with preschool throughout the week, caring for your wonderful children.
I am passionate about creating a safe, loving, calm and comfortable environment where each child feels happy, valued and supported. Building strong bonds with the children is something I take so much pride in and I feel incredibly lucky to be part of their lives. Watching them grow and reach new milestones is so rewarding.
I feel privileged to be part of such a strong and amazing team and have learned so much from the kind and experienced staff around me. Every day brings something new and I love being able to support the children through play.

I’m Jess, I’m 18 and currently working towards my level 3 qualification in early years. When finishing school I went to college and completed my first year of level 3 animal management but soon after realised I wanted to follow my mums footsteps in working in early years. Growing up I’ve always looked up to my mum (Rebecca) as my biggest inspiration, and seeing her help young minds grow has inspired me to do the same.
I’m excited to be apart of your little one’s growth and journey in the setting and making you all feel welcomed into the nursery family.

I’m Micah – Early Years Level 3 Apprentice, working towards my level 3 qualification. I’ve worked alongside children for over two years, but started working in nurseries in January, where I found the passion for helping little ones learn, grow and develop their amazing personalities. Outside of work I love spending time with my family and friends, always making memories. It is lovely being part of this team, where we have created a comfortable space for everyone to learn and have fun!
